Governor Mike Huckabee Endorsement of James Lankford

James Lankford - Back to America

Another major voice joined the chorus today asking Oklahomans to send James Lankford to the US Congress. Lankford was endorsed by former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee and HuckPAC. It is the only federal race in Oklahoma this year in which Huckabee has issued an endorsement.

“Governor Huckabee and I care deeply about the future of this great nation and we share many of the same beliefs concerning the change in direction needed in Washington, D.C. I am honored to receive the governor’s endorsement along with the support of HuckPAC,” Lankford said.

OFFICIAL ENDORSEMENT STATEMENT FROM GOVERNOR MIKE HUCKABEE

James Lankford is exactly the kind of leader that is urgently needed in the United States Congress. In this race, James uniquely shares my sincere desire to see a conservative transformation in American politics. The much needed change in direction will happen only when we send people to Washington D.C. who live their Christian convictions and have effectively served people in the private sector, rather than working in politics for decades. I’m convinced that James has the leadership, integrity and tenacious work ethic to be a game-changer in Washington, D.C.

As the director for well over a decade of Falls Creek, the largest Christian camp in America, James knows how to lead people, manage a budget and administer a large organization. James Lankford is a gifted communicator who will go to Congress as a statesman, not a politician, to work for the right kind of change in our government.

James shares my commitment to common sense solutions that are needed for strong national defense, real border security, less government control, domestic energy solutions, lower tax rates, defending human life and more individual liberty.

I encourage Republicans in Oklahoma’s 5th District to vote for James Lankford in the July 27 primary. Congress will benefit from a strong dose of the solidly conservative Oklahoma spirit and deeply patriotic American passion that James brings to the political arena.

Final Note from James: VIDEO REPSONSE CLICK HERE

With nine weeks until the election, there is a great deal to be done. Would you please help me get out the message that there is a different kind of candidate running this year for US Congress? Now is a great time to sign up as a volunteer or to donate. Please sign up as a voter or volunteer at the top right of this page and help us pass the word to others. If you can donate any amount, it would make a huge difference as we prepare for the media phase of the campaign. Thank you for all your support and your encouragement in this race, the calendar is racing toward July 27.

Huck PAC Endorses Scott Pruitt for Oklahoma Attorney General

Huck PAC - Blogs - Huck PAC Endorses Scott Pruitt for Oklahoma Attorney General

April 20, 2010 - 04:12 PM
Washington, DC continues to pass legislation that puts unfair demands on taxpayers, handcuffs state government and saddles generations with massive debt. Oklahoma needs an Attorney General who is willing to stand up and fight – and Scott Pruitt is that person.

Scott and I developed a close friendship during my Presidential Campaign. I know he is a man of integrity who will hold true to his values and convictions regardless of the opposition – even if that opposition comes out of Washington, DC. If elected Oklahoma's next Attorney General, Scott will initiate a constitutional legal challenge to the hugely unpopular Healthcare legislation, with a goal of rendering it null and void in the State of Oklahoma.

Scott has the legal background and experience needed to be an effective Attorney General. Whether it is issuing legal opinions on important state issues or taking on the federal government, the people of Oklahoma deserve strong leadership. That is why HuckPAC proudly endorses Scott Pruitt.”

Marco Rubio For Senate

Marco Rubio For Senate

When someone stands on principles throughout their career in politics, its an easy choice to endorse their candidacy for Senate. Today, I am excited to formally announce my endorsement of Marco Rubio for U.S. Senate.

Marco believes in smaller government. He is a firm supporter of life. As the former Florida Speaker he was incredibly effective at bringing new ideas to the table and working to see them passed into law. He is a family man, loyal, compassionate and someone I am proud to call a friend.

I encourage you to watch my video endorsement on my blog here and then share it with friends, family and co-workers by email, Twitter and on Facebook. After you do, please consider making an immediate contribution to Marco's campaign for Senate at http://www.marcorubio.com/.

Last night, his opponent was raising money in Washington, DC. I am told he may have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars. Today, I am hoping that Marco will receive the financial support of tens of thousands of Americans; the sort who make one political contribution a year, to the candidate they believe in with their hearts not just their heads. Because I firmly believe it is these contributions that will make the difference in this race, not the money raised from lobbyists who make a new political contribution each week, betting the "smart money."

So please watch my endorsement video today and then consider making a contribution directly to Marco's campaign for Senate.

Standing with Marco,

Mike Huckabee

LEANERS or LEADERS

By: Patrick Haworth
Tulsa, OK

On this HuckPAC National Volunteer Day, I'm encouraged as I read the many blog messages from other HuckPAC Volunteers from around the nation, as they talk about what drew them to support HuckPAC.

For me, years of waiting for incremental change to take place with no one seeming to take the conservative bull by the horns has been very frustrating. Most people AT LEAST know that it's completely wrong for our nation's written laws to allow for the killing of human children at late stages of pregnancy for the sake of, "choice", of the mother of the child; however our laws still reflect this sad level of lack of concern for those who cannot be heard or easily seen. Virtually everyone knows that our 67,500 page tax code is completely absurd. What a waste of resources just trying to comply with this behemoth? No one on Earth has ever read the entire thing or fully understands it. We all know that it was created by well-paid, DC lobbyist, getting loopholes so that their clients can enjoy UNFAIR advantages over their competitors. It's obviously time to get rid of it for something that is FAIR!

I'm not a genius and that's exactly what, for years, has made me so frustrated, because you don't HAVE to be a genius to see these things. So, why has it gone on for so long? In a word, PANDERING. For decades, we conservatives have listened to politicians tell us that they are pro-life and anti-overtaxing-for-wasteful-spending, but too many times they either don't get elected, or worse, get elected and don't keep their promises. They pander to us during the campaigns and govern otherwise. They try to ride the fence so that they won't draw too much ire and fire from the liberal media and special interest groups. They're afraid of being labeled as dogmatic, but one can afford to be dogmatic when they are correct.

Too many have been LEANING in our direction. We don't need any more LEANERS. Gov. Huckabee has broken that mold by being a LEADER.

Let's take our bulls by the horns! Now that we have a base to work from (HuckPAC), we can accomplish the task of getting our nation back on track. Gov. Huckabee has already laid the foundation for this with his creation of HuckPAC. Amongst many other things, he stood up boldly for the Human Life Amendment and the FairTax. He didn't just LEAN in our direction; he did LEAD us!

Let's plan our work together and work our plan together. The light can be seen at the end of this liberal tunnel. May the National Right To Life Committee never again endorse a candidate who does not support the Human Life Amendment over one who does! May there be too many ACTIVE members of HuckPAC in their ears, at every level, absolutely forbidding it! May the FairTax be clearly explained to enough neighbors to get our nation's fiscal sanity back before it's too late! May we grow in numbers and activity enough to win an astounding number of campaigns. We can do it and for the love of our nation, we should!

A recent example of success, was seen at our Oklahoma State Republican Party Convention, held in Oklahoma City, just a couple of weeks ago. In just ONE DAY, the number of our Team Huck Volunteers DOUBLED as 124 people signed up, not to mention that many politicians made clear to us that receiving the official endorsement of HuckPAC is at the top of their priorities. Thank you to the many volunteers who made the trip from all over the state and helped work the booth. (If only we had more than 2 clipboards, we could have signed up several more!)

Thank you Gov. Huckabee for taking the bull by the horns, by holding up the standard, by not just LEANING, but actually LEADING!

Jonathan Martin: Rep. Boren declines to endorse Obama

June 10, 2008

Rep. Boren declines to endorse Obama

This is not a good sign for Obama:

"We're much more conservative," Boren said of district. "I've got to reflect my district. No one means more to me than the people who elected me. I have to listen them." He called Obama "the most liberal senator in the U.S. Senate."

Yet Boren did say he'd back the Democratic slate in November.

Still, I see at least two problems this creates for the Democratic nominee.

First, it gives McCain and the GOP a handy talking point from a non-Lieberman Dem. "Even some Democratic congressmen..." will surely go the refrain when making the case about Obama's purported liberalism.

Further, Boren's statement will surely prompt reporters to ask most every Blue Dog Democrat who had been holding out or supporting Clinton whether they'll now get behind Obama.

And Boren certainly won't be the last to put on his dancing shoes.

My Personal Endorsement of Mike Huckabee

Just as surely as I claim to be a conservative voter, all of the Republican Presidential Candidates have, at one time or another, attempted to claim to me and all others like me that they are, in some form, conservative or even the most conservative.

The report came in today that someone in Texas received a McCain-supporting automated phone call that was different than the many others that they have been receiving, daily. This one was different, because it made the receiver of the phone call laugh! The voice coming through was that of Texas Governor Rick Perry. What made them laugh was that Gov. Perry said that John McCain was, "the true conservative in the race"!

The following will clearly explain why Mike Huckabee should get the votes of all true conservatives:

Most Socially Conservative - Gov. Mike Huckabee is the only candidate who proves that he understands WHY to be pro-life, as evidenced by, the fact that he is for the HLA (Human Life Amendment). The HLA is the 21st Century equivalent to The Emancipation Proclamation of another truly great leader, President Abraham Lincoln. President Lincoln knew that slavery is morally wrong and unacceptable in every state - not just the northern states. President Huckabee will bring into the light, for every American, the fact that purposely killing an unborn child is also morally wrong and unacceptable in every state - not just certain states (which is all we would get to if Roe vs. Wade ever gets overturned).

"If slavery isn't wrong, then nothing is wrong." - Lincoln

"If abortion isn't wrong, then nothing is wrong." - Huckabee

All candidates who are not in favor of HLA, yet claim to be pro-life are only pandering to those who truly are pro-life and do not truly care (or at best, do not truly understand) about this issue. They have been playing this game for far too long and we should not allow them to string us along any more. If someone is not for the HLA (which has been a plank in the Republican Party Platform since 1980), then they probably should not have your vote.

Most Economically Conservative - Gov. Huckabee is the only candidate who is in favor of getting rid of our unfair, extremely complicated, Washington, D.C. lobbyist-enabler, tax code, which penalizes productivity and rewards illegal activity and irresponsible behavior, and replacing it with The Fair Tax. Gov. Huckabee showed that he knows how to limit spending of a Democrat-controlled legislature, while Gov of Arkansas. His state went from having a $200 Million deficit to having an $850 Million surplus even when the public school system climbed from #49 in the nation to #8! His economic stimulus package would include building much-needed infrastructure. If he were President 10 years ago, it's hard to imagine that the levies of New Orleans would have failed.

Most Conservative on National Defense - Gov. Huckabee is for getting our National Defense spending levels, as a % of GDP, up to at least those of President Reagan's era of 6%. He wants our military to be so powerful that no one will want to challenge it. He believes in the Powell Doctrine of using overwhelming force against the enemy. He has been the only viable candidate speaking out about Saudi Arabia's failure to pay $ Billions to the US in support of operations in Iraq, their failure to take a more active role in dealing with the instability of their region of the world, their lack of proper women's rights laws regarding the punishment of women for acts that are not criminal, and their failure to put an end to the teachings of the more radical forms of Islam, such as Wahabbism, which teaches children, from very young ages, to harbor tremendous hatred inside of them, toward others who do not happen to believe in their form of religion, to the point of becoming homicidal. He is the only candidate that has spoken of telling Saudi Arabia that we need their oil about as much as we need their sand, so that we're not funding BOTH sides of the war on terror. He is the only Presidential Candidate who has spoken out consistently that we need to have our eyes focused on Pakistan and has stated repeatedly that possible future attacks would most likely be postmarked "Pakistan".

Presidential Candidate Governor Mike Huckabee clearly sits higher upon Romney's "3-legged stool" than any other candidate, with a long record of PROVEN LEADERSHIP. We may never have an opportunity to vote for a candidate this articulate, sharp-minded, and issues-wise in our entire life-times. He deserves all of the votes and support of any American who dares to call themself a conservative, because he is TRULY an AUTHENTIC conservative.
